Smart Card PKI Login
If you have digital certificates (Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) key pair) from the Siemens PKI on a Smart Card, this is the most secure method to authenticate. With this authentication method you have direct access to the most of the applications.
This help page describes the usage of certificates, which are stored on a smart card.
Please make sure, that your smart card is working and inserted in your smart card reader.
You want to log in with a PKI certificate on your smart card?
1) Click "login" in the login box "Smart Card PKI Login" on the login page.
2) In the next dialog please enter your personal smart card PIN.
Please note, that this dialog will not appear, if your system has remembered the PIN from a previous PKI login.
3) After successful authentication you will be automatically forwarded to the application, which was originally called.
